While there are no motocross goggles that are truly “bulletproof,” some goggles are designed to offer advanced levels of impact resistance and durability. Here are some key features to look for in motocross goggles that offer enhanced protection:
Lens quality: Look for lenses made from materials like polycarbonate or Trivex, which offer high levels of impact resistance and are less likely to shatter upon impact. Some goggles also feature additional coatings or treatments to increase their durability.
Frame construction: Goggles with sturdy frames made from materials like thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or aluminum are more likely to withstand heavy impacts without breaking.
Foam padding: The foam padding around the goggles should be thick enough to provide a comfortable fit and absorb sweat and moisture. Some goggles also feature multi-density foam padding that is specifically designed to provide enhanced impact protection.
Strap design: The strap should be adjustable and made from non-slip materials like silicone to keep the goggles secure and in place while riding. Some goggles also feature wider straps for increased stability and support.
While no goggles can guarantee complete bulletproof protection, choosing goggles with these advanced features can help provide a higher level of protection against heavy impacts and debris on the motocross track.
